Respondents Prayer: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a writ of mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to issue Legal Heir Certificate to petitoiner in respect of death of petitioner's husband Late S.Kuppusamy on the application made by the petitioner on 05.03.2013, 16.07.2014 and 30.10.2014.

By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
2. The petitioner is the wife of late S.Kuppusamy, who died on 19.11.1994. On his demise, the petitioner herein submitted an application to the Avadi Municipality to issue Death Certificate in the name of her husband and accordingly, it was issued on 24.01.2013 and subsequently, she approached the second respondent for issuance of Legal Heir Certificate on 05.03.2013 with necessary documents and it was followed by two reminders dated 16.07.2014 and 30.10.2014 respectively and since, she has not been favoured with any kind of response, came forward to file this writ petition.
3. Heard Mr.V.Jaishankar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. V.Subbaiah, learned Special Government Pleader, who accepts notice for the respondents.

4. This Court, taking into consideration the limited scope of the prayer and without going into the merits of the representation, directs the second respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation/application dated 05.03.2013 and the reminders/representations dated 16.07.2014 and 30.10.2014, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision to the petitioner.
