Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to extend time to petitioner to surrender and execute sureties Crl.MP.960/2022 in Crl.O.P.No.24665 of 2021 for order dated 02.02.2022 and thus render justice.
Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S. PERIASWAMY I., Advocate for the Petitioner and of MR.S.SANTHOSH, Govt. Advocate (Crl. Side) on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed by the petitioner to extend the time to surrender and execute the sureties and to deposit a sum of Rs.6 lakhs made in Crl.M.P.No.960 of 2022 in Crl.O.P.No.24665 of 2021 dated 02.02.2022.
2. By an order of this Court dated 02.02.2022 in Crl.O.P.No.24665 of 2021 two weeks time was extended to the petitioner to surrender and to execute the sureties.
3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submits that the above stated condition was not complied by the petitioner. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
4. The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner states that due to local body election, the petitioner could not able to raise funds to deposit the money within a stipulated time and hence, she could not able to comply with the condition within time.
5. Taking note of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, for depositing a sum of Rs.6 lakhs and for executing sureties, time is extended till 15.03.2022 with a condition that no further extension of time will be granted failing which, the anticipatory bail granted will be automatically cancelled without any reference to this Court.
