This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider and pass orders on the statutory appeal memo dated 09.07.2018, followed by a reminder dated 24.10.2018 on merits and in accordance with law and within a time to be stipulated by this Court. Challenging the order of punishment 07.06.2018, the petitioner preferred an appeal before the 1st respondent on 09.07.2018.
2.The learned counsel for the writ petitioner states that on account of the certain false allegations, the 2nd respondent imposed the punishment of stoppage of increment. Against the said order of punishment, the petitioner preferred an appeal before the 1st respondent on 09.07.2018 and thereafter, sent a reminder on 24.10.2018. However, the appeal is yet to be considered by the 1st respondent.

3.The learned counsel for the writ petitioner states that on account of currency of punishment, the writ petitioner is deprived of his service benefits. Thus, the early disposal of the appeal is just and necessary.
4.Under these circumstances and without going into the merits of the matter, the 1st respondent is directed to consider the appeal submitted by the writ petitioner on 09.07.2018 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petitioner is directed to enclose one more copy of the order and all other relevant documents, if any, along with the order passed in the writ petition.
5. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
