The prayer sought for herein is for a writ of mandamus directing the respondents herein, to transfer the patta in the name of the petitioner, concerning the property comprised in Nanjai Survey No.15/4B to an extent of 0.30.5 ares (75 cents) at No.161, Vazhur Village, Cheyyar, Vandavasi Circle, Thiruvannamalai District, which property was purchased by the petitioner, vide Sale Deed Doc.No.1810/2016 dated 30.09.2016, registered before SRO, Kilkodungaalur, and Registration District of Cheyyar, Thiruvannamalai District, Vandavasi, by considering the online application dated 05.01.2022 and the representation of the petitioner dated 05.12.2022.

The petitioner, in respect of property at Survey No.15/4B to an extent of 0.30.5 ares (75 cents) at No.161, Vazhur Village, Cheyyar, Vandavasi Circle, Thiruvannamalai District, has given an online application on 05.01.2022 to the Zonal Deputy Tahsildar i.e. the 2nd respondent and in order to consider the same and to pass necessary orders thereon for issuance of patta, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition with the aforestated prayer.

3. Heard Mr.S.Baskaran, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mrs.N.Senthil Selvi, learned Government Advocate for the respondents.
4. The learned Government Advocate for the respondents would submit that the said application would be considered and decided on merits and in accordance with law by the 2nd respondent within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.
5. Considering the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate for the respondents, this Court directs the 2nd respondent to consider the application of the petitioner dated 05.12.2022 and pass necessary orders thereon on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
