The matter is heard through "Video-Conferencing". This petition is filed to condone the delay of 97 days in representing the papers in CMP SR Nos.65711 to 65713 of 2017.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner died on 22.02.2017. The legal heirs of the petitioner filed petitions to bring themselves on record, set aside the abatement and to condone the delay in setting aside the abatement. The same were returned by the Registry for want of some corrections. The counsel appearing for petitioner could not represent the same in time and thus delay of 97 days has occurred in representing the papers in C.M.P.SR.Nos.65711 to 65713 of 2017.
3.Mr.Karthikeyan, learned counsel representing Mr.S.Joel, learned counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that vakalat filed by Mr.S.Joel for the respondent was returned by the Registry for want of welfare stamps. Due to Covid 19 situation, the learned counsel appearing for the respondent was not able to comply the same and further submitted that the respondent has no objection to condone the delay of 97 days in representing the papers in C.M.P.SR.Nos.65711 to 65713 of 2017.
4. Being satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition and recording the no objection given by the learned counsel for the respondent, the delay of 97 days is condoned and this petition stands ordered.
