Respondents Prayer: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a writ of mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent to consider the application dated 30.12.2014 for mutation of the revenue records and grant of computerized patta to the petitioner for the land measuring 480 square feet comprised in S.No.128/1 part Narasingapuram Village, Attur Taluk, Salem District.

By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner claims ownership of the property by means of a registered Sale Deed dated 22.04.1996, registered as Document No.911 of 1996, by the jurisdictional Sub Registrar. Thereafter, he submitted a representation dated 30.12.2014 to the 3rd respondent for mutation of the revenue records and grant of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

computerised patta for the land admeasuring to an extent of 480 square feet comprised in S.No.128/1 part Narasingapuram Village, Attur Taluk, Salem District and it was also followed by a further representation dated 31.12.2014 to the respondents 1 and 2 and since, he has not been favoured with any response, came forward to file this writ petition.

3. Heard the submissions of Mr.M.Devaraj, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.A.S.Sakthivel, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice for the respondents.

4. This Court, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the said representation/application, directs the 3rd respondent to consider and dispose of the representation/application dated 30.12.2014 submitted by the petitioner on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders as expeditiously as possible and not later than four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision to the petitioner.
