O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to register a case based on the petitioner's complaint dated 19.03.2014.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Government Advocate [Criminal Side] for the respondents and perused the materials placed on record.

3.Learned Government Advocate [Criminal Side] submits that the petitioner sent his complaint to the Superintendent of Police, Coimbatore, whereas the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Anti Land Grabbing Cell, Coimbatore, is the competent authority to enquire into the matter.

4.Hence, the petitioner is directed to give a copy of the complaint dated 19.03.2014 to the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Anti Land Grabbing Cell, Coimbatore within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on receipt of the same, the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Anti Land Grabbing Cell, Coimbatore is directed to conduct enquiry and during the course of enquiry, if any cognizable offence is made out, F.I.R. shall be registered, following the decision laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in LALITA KUMARI vs. GOVERNMENT OF UTTARPRADESH AND OTHERS reported in [(2014) 2 SCC 1].

5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
