It is seen from the records revealed that in another petition in Crl.O.P.No.13468 of 2024, filed by the petitioner in Crl.O.P.No.3941 of 2025, this Court by an order dated 10.09.2024, transferred the investigation from the file of the Inspector of Police, District Crime Branch, Coimbatore to the file of the Deputy Superintendent of Police attached to the District Crime Branch, Coimbatore for further investigation. Now the investigation is pending. Once again the
petitioners herein sought for transfer of investigation from the file of the second respondent to the file of the CBCID.

On instruction, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents police submitted that then Deputy Superintendent of Police, District Crime Branch, Coimbatore, has been transferred and now new officer has been joined as Deputy Superintendent of Police, District Crime Branch, Coimbatore. That apart, if the investigation is transferred from the second respondent to any other investigation agency, it would affect the entire investigation done by the second respondent.

Considering the above facts and circumstances, this Court finds no reason to transfer the investigation in Crime No.14 of 2023. However, the second respondent is directed to complete the investigation and file final report within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order. The Superintendent of Police, District Crime Branch, Coimbatore, is directed to monitor the investigation done by the second respondent and ensure that the second respondent shall comply the order passed by this Court.

With the above directions, all the Criminal Original Petitions stand disposed of.
