Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice for the respondents. With the consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. This writ petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents herein to dispose of the petitioner's representations dated 27.12.2023 and 25.01.2024, respectively, wherein and whereby, she sought for assignment of free vacant house site in her favour. 3.The main grievance of the petitioner is that even though the representations have been made on 27.12.2023 and 25.01.2024, respectively, till date the respondents have not taken any action on the said representations.

Since this writ petition is filed for a simple Mandamus to consider the representations of the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any view or opinion with regard to the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 27.12.2023 and 25.01.2024, respectively, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
