ORDER

Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner.

2. This Court, by an order dated 24.6.2013 in Crl.O.P.No.15858 of 2013, directed the respondent herein to conduct an enquiry in CSR No.191 of 2013 and if a cognizable offence was made out, he was directed to register a case and proceed further in accordance with law.

Further, the respondent was directed to complete the process as early as possible, preferably, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of that order. Alleging that the said order has not been complied with, the present contempt petition has been filed.

3. Learned Government Advocate, Criminal Side appearing for the respondent submitted that pursuant to the direction given by this Court, an enquiry was conducted in CSR No.191 of 2013 and since no cognizable offence was made out, the said complaint was closed.

4. Since the order of this Court has been complied with, I am of the opinion, nothing survives in this contempt petition and hence, the contempt petition is closed. However, if the petitioner is aggrieved over the closure report, she is at liberty to challenge the same in the manner known to law, if she is so aggrieved. sbi SD/ JOINT REGISTRAR(OS) //Certified to be true copy// Dated at Madras this the day of 2016.
