Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issue of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to remove the encroachment before laying of the road from Sagayapuram to Kasipalayam in 3rd respondent panchayat. ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) The petitioner alleges encroachment on the road by respondent Nos.4 to 11. This allegation is accepted by respondent authorities.

2. The Block Development Officer, Kodumudi/respondent No.2 is thus called upon to inspect the site to reverify the position and if any encroachment on the road is found, to take action in accordance with law after notice to all concerned. This exercise be completed within a maximum period of three months of the receipt of this order.

3. The writ petition, accordingly, stands disposed of. Consequently, M.P.No.1 of 2014 is closed.
