By an order dated 11.08.2023, this Court had directed the fourth respondent/ Tahsildar in W.P.No.6456 of 2023, to carryout the inspection of the property as to whether the same is in consonance with the order of assignment made in favour of the petitioner in W.P.No.22952 of 2023 and to file a status report within a period of two weeks. The respondent Greater Chennai Corporation was directed to consider the financial status of the petitioner in W.P.No.22952 of 2023 and deseal the petitioner's property and allow her to use the property for residential purpose.

2. Today, it is stated by the learned counsel appearing for the fourth respondent/ Tahsildar in W.P.No.6456 of 2023 that during inspection, there was encroachment in the subject property.

3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner in W.P.No.22952 of 2023 stated that the fourth respondent/ Tahsildar did not issue prior notice intimating the inspection of the property and the said inspection was done behind the back of the petitioner in W.P.No.22952 of 2023. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

In view of the submissions made on either side, the fourth respondent/ Tahsildar in W.P.No.6456 of 2023 is directed to issue notice to all the interested persons and thereafter, inspect the building. After such inspection being undertaken, a report shall be filed within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Post the matter on 08.09.2023 (J.N.B.,J.)
