When the matter is taken up for consideration, it is brought to the notice of this Court by the learned Additional Government Pleader that the State Government has issued orders in G.O.Ms.247 Higher Education (F2) Department dated 08.11.2022 providing for conducting the written competitive examination for the guest lecturers for filling up the vacant post of Assistant Professors in Government Arts and Science College in Colleges of Education by direct recruitment and a copy of the same is also placed 2/4

before this Court.

2.In view of the same, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the writ petition with liberty to take appropriate steps against the said Government Order dated 08.11.2022. Hence, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Consequently, connected miscellaneous applications are closed.
