This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying to direct the respondent to register a First Information Report on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner on 25.4.2015.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents. 3.On a reading of the complaint, it appears that the petitioner's son got engaged with one Durga Devi and thereafter the bride's family did not want the marriage to go on. In the present case, as the complaint does not disclose any cognizable offence, no positive direction as sought for by the petitioner can be given.

4. In view of the above, the Criminal Original Petition is closed however, with liberty to the petitioner to work out her remedy in the manner known to law.
