O R D E R

The main Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to promote the petitioner as Junior Engineer Mechanical Grade-II with all monetary benefits on par with his juniors on the basis of representation dated 17.08.2011 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ following the Judgment made in W.P.No.23202 of 2004 dated

21.07.2009 and W.P.No.24751 of 2010 dated 14.02.2010 on merits and within a time to be stipulated by this Hon'ble Court and order has also been obtained in the said writ petition on 21.10.2011.

2.Subsequently, contempt petition has been filed stating that he has not been considered for promotion under non-diploma category. Pending contempt petition, the petitioner has given a letter dated 26.09.2016 to consider him for promotion under diploma category.

3.Mr.P.R.Dhilip Kumar, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent/TNEB produced the copy of the letter dated 26.09.2016 in which the petitioner has sought for promotion under the diploma category and would assert that the petitioner has got promotion. The said fact was also confirmed by the learned Counsel for the Petitioner. Since the petitioner has been granted relief, this contempt petition is closed.
