The petitioner has filed this petition seeking to call for the records of the second respondent relating to the letter No.3774/Pay Cell/2018-1 dated 01.04.2019 addressed to the third respondent and to quash the same and consequently direct the third respondent to grant the benefits to the petitioner as per G.O.Ms.No.140 (Pay Cell) Department dated 25.04.2018 and refix the pension to the petitioner as per the G.O.Ms.No.311 Finance (CMPL) Department dated 31.12.2014 and pay the monetary benefits from 31.02.2014 at an early date.
2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has passed away two years back and Page No.2 of 5
prayed this Court to dismiss this writ petition as abated. He has also made an endorsement to that effect in the case bundle.
3. In view of the aforesaid submission coupled with an endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as abated. No costs.
