PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India,to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 2nd to 4th respondents to recommend the petitioner's husband namely P.Nagendran S/o.Ponnusamy, aged 48 years, life convict No.(1236) in the proposed list of premature release and direct the 1st respondent to consider the same without any bias. This Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd to 4th respondents to recommend the petitioner's husband in the proposed list of premature release.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that for the very same relief the petitioner has already filed a petition in H.C.P. No.191 of 2019 and it is pending before this Court.

3. It is seen that for the very same relief, the petitioner has already filed a petition in H.C.P.No.191 of 2019, and it is pending before this Court. Therefore, the prayer sought for in this petition cannot be granted and this petition is devoid of merits.

4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs.
