ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondents police for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c) r/w 20(b)(ii) (A), 28 & 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 in Crime No. (Not Known) of 2020 seeks anticipatory bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that some courier was sent to the petitioner from USA through Air courier. During the scanning process, the Air Authority found that the courier addressed to the petitioner contained 900 grams of Ganja. Hence, a complaint has been registered against the petitioner.
3. The learned Special Public Prosecutor would submit that the quantity of contraband is less than 1 kg and the offences are bailable in nature and there is no apprehension of arrest. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
