Respondents Habeas Corpus Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus calling for the entire records in No.523/BCDFGISSSV/2020 dated 28.12.2020 on the file of second respondent herein and set aside the same as illegal and produce the detenu Prithviraj S/o.Thulasidoss, aged about 24 years, who is confined at Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai, before this Court and set him at liberty.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by R.PONGIAPPAN, J] Petitioner is the wife of the detenu Prithviraj S/o.Thulasidoss, aged about 24 years, who has been branded as 'Goonda' under Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 and detained under orders of second respondent passed in No.523/BCDFGISSSV/2020 dated 28.12.2020. Such order is under challenge herein.

2. Learned Government Advocate [Crl.side] would submit that the detention order passed against the detenu in No.523/BCDFGISSSV/2020 dated 28.12.2020 on the file of the second respondent is revoked vide G.O.Rt.No.954, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIII) Department, dated 25.02.2021 and produced a copy of the said order.

In view of the above, this petition is closed as it has become infructuous.
