ORDER

The petitioners have come to this Court seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to count the entire temporary services of the petitioners in the cadre of Field Surveyor cum Draftsman/Section Writer for pension purpose and accordingly revise the petitioners' pension and pensionary benefits and also to pay the consequential arrears in the light of the judgment reported in 2013 (2) MLJ 399 and on par with the various judgments made by this Hon'ble Court, by considering the representation dated 23.6.2016, within a stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court.

2. Mr.M.Dig Vijaya Pandian, learned Additional Government Pleader, taking notice on behalf of the respondents, sought a reasonable time to consider the representation of the petitioners.

3. This Court, considering the limited prayer, without going to the merits, hereby directs the respondents to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioners in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petitions are disposed of accordingly. No costs.
