Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1, 2 and 3 to disburse the amount as per the judgment decree in L.A.O.P.Nos.93 and 94/1995 dated 25.07.2007 and 09.04.2007 respectively, on the file of Sub Court, Tiruvannamalai, within a time frame to be fixed by this Hon'ble Court. C O M M O N O R D E R The petitioners have filed these writ petitions seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1, 2 and 3 to disburse the amount as per the judgment decree in L.A.O.P.Nos.93 and 94 of 1995 dated 25.07.2007 and 09.04.2007 respectively, on the file of the learned Sub Court, Tiruvannamalai, within a time frame.
2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that the amount was deposited on 09.10.2012 itself, however, since the issue is pending before this Court, the amount was not disbursed in favour of the petitioners. In view of the above, the prayer sought for in the writ petitions became infructuous. He would further submit that the petitioners may be permitted to file appropriate application before the competent Court for disbursement of the amount. 3.In view of the above, the writ petitions are closed. The petitioners may work out their remedy before the EP Court for disbursement of the amount. No costs.
