O R D E R
This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondent to receive the application of the petitioner, dated 18/1/2021, in Form CCPA and the prescribed fee, for the grant of autorickshaw permit to operate the vehicle, within radius of 30 Kms distance, from Hosur Town Old bus stand, Krishnagiri and to consider the same and to pass orders in accordance with law.
2. The grievance of the petitioner is that though the petitioner has submitted an application as on 18/1/2021, the respondent is not receiving the same.
3. Mr.M. Elumalai, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent, after instructions in this writ petition, produced a written instruction received by him from the respondent stating that there is an objection for grant of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
new autorickshaw permits by the Salem Bus Owners Association and they have also filed a writ petition in W.P.No.30613 of 2019 which is pending before this court, of course, without any interim order. The learned Additional Government Pleader would further submit that they have not received any such Application from the petitioner seeking Autorickshaw permit and if any application is received by them, in the prescribed format, the same would be considered on the merits of the application.
4. In view of the above written instructions, this court is inclined to dispose of the writ petition with the following direction. The petitioner shall apply for Autorickshaw permit in the prescribed format by paying necessary fee within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and if any application is filed by the petitioner, the same shall be considered by the respondent on the merits of that application within a period of three weeks from thereon.
