....Respondent Prayer :- Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus after calling for the records pertaining to the order in B.P.Ms.No.5, O&M Wing dated 22.02.2018 issued by the respondent, quash the same and consequently direct the respondent Board and its Officials not to reduce the existing regular/temporary posts in their operation and maintenance wing and in the pumping stations, treatment plants and water supply schemes, without issuing notice under Section 9A of the ID Act and in the form prescribed in 1/4

the TN ID Rules and also without holding talks with the petitioner Union and without arriving at a settlement and to fix the workload norms based on the actual requirement and in accordance with the Indian Electricity Rules and Public Health Norms after holding negotiation and talks with the petitioner Union and by entering into a settlement with our Union. ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking to quash the order in B.P.Ms.No.5, O&M Wing dated 22.02.2018 issued by the respondent and consequently, direct the respondent Board and its Officials not to reduce the existing regular/temporary posts in their operation and maintenance wing and in the pumping stations, treatment plants and water supply schemes, without issuing notice under Section 9A of the ID Act and in the form prescribed in the TN ID Rules and also without holding talks with the petitioner Union and without arriving at a settlement and to fix the workload norms based on the actual requirement and in accordance with the Indian Electricity Rules and Public Health Norms after holding negotiation and talks with the petitioner Union and by entering into a settlement with our Union.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that as on date, there is no threat for retrenchment or reduction of employment on the basis of the impugned order. Hence, no adjudication is necessary in this writ petition.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the writ petition is dismissed. No costs .Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
