ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 14.12.2024, seeking bail in Crime No.621 of 2024 registered for the offence under Sections 194 of BNSS 2023 ( under Section 174 of Cr.P.C.) subsequently altered into Sections 64, 103(1) of BNS, 2023 ( under Section 376, 302 of IPC.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with other accused brutally raped the defacto complainant's daughter and also murdered her.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, petitioner is an innocent person and false case has been foisted against him. Hence, he prayed for grant of bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) vehemently opposed for grant of bail to the petitioner.

5. Considering the fact that the petitioner has committed grievous offence as against the deceased, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
