O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner on 27.04.2019, within the time frame fixed by this Court.

2.Heard Mr.P.Dhananjayan, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.U.Baranidharan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents.

3.The petitioner submitted a Sale Deed for registration and the same was refused to be registered by the Sub Registrar through the proceedings dated 01.04.2019. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner filed an appeal before the 2nd respondent on 27.04.2019 and the same is pending without any progress. It is under these circumstances, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court. 4.The learned Special Government Pleader on instructions submitted that the appeal is still pending before the 2nd respondent and the same will be disposed of within the time frame fixed by this Court.

5.Considering the above submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader, there shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 6.This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No Costs.
