Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, call for the entire records leading to the detention of the Petitioner's Brother Murugan Son of Sekar, male Aged about 38 years is presently lodged in Central Prison Puzhal at Chennai and has been detained under Act 14/82 as a "Goonda" vide detention order dated 23.01.2018 on the file of the 2nd Respondent herein, made in Memo No.27/BCDFGISSSV/2018 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents herein to produce the body and person of the said detenu before this Hon'ble Court and thereafter set him at liberty from the Central Prison, Puzhal chennai.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM.,J) The learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 & 2, brought to the notice of this Court that the order of detention issued by the competent authority has been revoked.

In this regard, the Government issued G.O.Rt.No.922, Home, Prohibition & Excise(XIII) Department dated 12.03.2018.

2.Thus, no further adjudication is required in this petition. Accordingly, this Habeas Corpus petition stands closed.
