O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 13.01.2025 wherein the petitioner is seeking for issuance of patta with respect to the subject property.

2. Heard Mr.M.Palani, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondents.

3. When the matter came up for hearing on 26.02.2025, this Court directed the learned Additional Government Pleader to take instructions with respect to the representation made by the petitioner seeking for re-classification of land and for issuance of patta in her name.

4. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Government Pleader submits that the representation is pending before the first respondent and the first respondent will pass orders within the time frame fixed by this Court.

5. Considering the submissions made on either side, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 13.01.2025 within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
