This Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of a Mandamus seeking a direction against the first respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner on 13.12.2024. 2.In the affidavit filed in support of the Writ Petition, it has been stated that the petitioner had been appointed as Temporary Shop Salesman in TASMAC, on contract basis, for a consolidated pay for a sum of Rs.1,000/- per month in the year 2003. It had been stated that owing to charges raised against the petitioner herein, he had been dismissed from service. He had filed an appeal which is now pending before the first respondent.

3.Heard the learned Standing Counsel, appearing for the respondents also.

4.A direction is given that provided the papers are in order and the petitioner cooperates during the hearing of the appeal, the first 2/4

respondent may endeavour to dispose of the same within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.The Writ Petition stands disposed of.
