ORDER

The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 06.02.2016, to furnish the duplicate copy of the Registration Certificate of the petitioner's car bearing Registration No.TN-09-AW-7243, which has been lost in the heavy flood dated 02.12.2015. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that though the petitioner had given a representation on 06.02.2016 to the first respondent to issue a duplicate copy of the Registration Certificate, the same was not considered by the first respondent yet.

3. Mr.A. Zakir Hussian, the learned Government Advocate, taking notice for the respondents, submitted that the first respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation and pass orders within a stipulated time.

4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 6.2.2016 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With this observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
