This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the second respondent to act upon the applications submitted by the petitioner on 08.11.2024 and 09.11.2024 and to conduct survey in the subject properties by demarcating the boundaries.

2. Heard Ms.R.Poornima, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 and 2.

3. The petitioner is claiming right over the subject property through a partition deed dated 21.08.2008. Subsequently, individual patta was granted in the name of the petitioner for survey Nos.91/2A1A2 and 91/2A1E. Insofar as Patta No.415 granted for survey No.91/2A1D is concerned, a joint patta was issued in the name of the petitioner and his brother Susainathan. The petitioner wanted a survey to be conducted for demarcation of boundaries in these properties. The application submitted by the petitioner was not acted upon and hence, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court. 2/4

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to act upon the applications submitted by the petitioner on 08.11.2024 and 09.11.2024 and conduct the survey in the subject properties in the presence of the brother of the petitioner. This process shall be completed within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction.
