This application has been filed by the applicant for extending the mandate of the learned Arbitrator who was appointed by this Court pursuant to Order dated 02.11.2022.

2. In the proceedings before the Arbitral Tribunal, the respondents have remained ex parte.

3. By a communication dated 11.01.2024, the learned Arbitrator has indicated that the mandate would be expiring on 13.01.2024 and therefore has requested the applicant to obtain suitable orders from the Court for extending the mandate to complete the arbitration proceedings for passing of the Award.

5. Recording the above submission, the mandate of the learned Arbitrator, to complete the pending arbitration proceedings, to pass an Award is extended by three months from today i.e., from 27.02.2024.
