Respondents Prayer :- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorari Mandamus, to call for the records in G.O.268 Highways and Minor Ports (HW2) dated 13.08.2010 on the file of the first respondent issued under Section 15(1) of the Tamil Nadu Highways Act 2001 (Tamil Nadu Act 34) and two consequential notices in File No.Na.Ka.412/2007/A1 dated 22.01.2011 issued by the third respondent for compensation enquiry and for delivery of possession and consequential notice dated 03.12.2012 under Section 19(5) and 19(7) issued by the third respondent and quash the entire proceedings in so far as the property of the petitioner is concerned and consequently forbear the respondents from acquiring the property of the petitioner mentioned as Government Wet Manai T.S.No.

1(Old Survey No.242/5) now sub-divided as T.S.No.1/2 belonging to K.Ravikumar bounded on the north by Block No.9, East by T.S.No.8, South by T.S.No.2 and West by Ward E - 0.0043.5 square metres on the file of the first respondent but described in the notices of the third respondent as ground floor, two shops part and first floor house part and ACC roofing in the front part of survey No.1/2 part of Town survey No.242/5, Alandur Taluk, Ward No.F and Block No.13, Alandur Town, Kanchepuram District.

ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed to call for the records in G.O.268 Highways and Minor Ports (HW2) dated 13.08.2010 on the file of the first respondent issued under Section 15(1) of the Tamil Nadu Highways Act 2001 (Tamil Nadu Act 34) and two consequential notices in File No.Na.Ka.412/2007/A1 dated 22.01.2011 issued by the third respondent for compensation enquiry and for delivery of possession and consequential notice dated 03.12.2012 under Section 19(5) and 19(7) issued by the third respondent and quash the entire proceedings in so far as the property of the petitioner is concerned and consequently forbear the respondents from acquiring the property of the petitioner mentioned as Government Wet Manai T.S.No.1(Old Survey No.242/5) now sub-divided as T.S.No.1/2 belonging to K.Ravikumar bounded on the north by Block No.9, East by T.S.No.

8, South by T.S.No.2 and West by Ward E - 0.0043.5 square metres on the file of the first respondent but described in the notices of the third respondent as ground floor, two shops part and first floor house part and ACC roofing in the front part of survey No.1/2 part of Town survey No.242/5, Alandur Taluk, Ward No.F and Block No.13, Alandur Town, Kanchepuram District.

When the matter was listed on 21.01.2022, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Therefore, the matter was ordered to be listed on 25.01.2022 under the caption "for dismissal". Even today i.e., on 25.01.2022, no one is appeared on behalf of the petitioner.
