When the matter is taken up for hearing today (10.01.2018), Mr.S.Rajagopal, learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the respondents would submit that as per the direction given to the respondents, to reconsider the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ application of the petitioner for compassionate appointment, by
order dated 17.05.2017 passed in W.P.No.12715 of 2017, they have reconsidered the application filed by the petitioner and passed the order by way of proceedings of the Director, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department, Chennai, in Na.Ka.No.22102/2017/T2, dated 28.08.2017.

Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the respondents by producing a copy of the proceedings submitted before this Court, this Contempt Petition is closed.
