O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to act on the OnLine application submitted by the petitioner seeking for survey of the subject property and for demarcation of boundaries.

2. Heard Mr.J.Bharathi Raja, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondents.

3. The petitioner is claiming right and title over the subject property through two registered settlement deeds dated 30.08.2018 and 22.03.2022 made in favour of the petitioner and his brother. The petitioner wanted a survey to be conducted in the subject property for demarcation of boundaries and an application was submitted by paying necessary charges. Since the same was not acted upon, a representation was made on 09.12.2024, which also did not evoke any response. It is under these circumstances, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the respondents to act upon the application submitted by the petitioner on 09.12.2024 and complete the survey within a period of four (4) weeks in line with the title document. If there is any other rival claim, the survey shall be conducted in their presence.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
