ORDER

This writ petition has been filed challenging the order passed by the District Collector, Thiruvallur, for the purpose of taking away the cheque signing power of the petitioner.

2. The impugned proceedings relate to the period of election held in 2015 and an interim order has been granted by this Court on 20.08.2015 subject to the payment of deposit of Rs.65,000/- before the third respondent herein. Now, the period of tenure of the elected President and Vice President is already over and new elections have been conducted and the new Office Bearers have assumed office. Therefore, the relief sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous.

3. Such view of the matter, the writ petition stands dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
