The present Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for records in C.C.No.4632 of 2016 pending on the file of XX Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, at Allikulam and quash the same as against the petitioner.

2. In this case, the trial has already commenced in C.C.No.4632 of 2016. At this stage, there is no question of quashing the entire proceedings.

3. In view of the above, this Court is not inclined to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.4632 of 2016 pending on the file of the XX Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, at Allikulam. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
