Prayer in W.P.No.2426 of 2015: Writ Petition filed under Section 226 of Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records relating to the order passed by the 1st respondent vide letter dated 12.01.2015 in JDC/10194/12/E pertaining to tender notification dated 16.09.2014 bearing No.T/JDC/42/2014/E, for the purpose of strengthening of existing revetment at eastern seashore of Chennai port and quash the same consequently direct the 1st respondent to declare the petitioner as technically qualified and lowest evaluated bid and award the contract in favour of the petitioner by calling for all the bids submitted by all the tenderers and other records in sealed form before this Court for judicial scrutiny.

Today, when the matters were taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submitted that the reliefs sought for herein have become infructuous and hence, nothing survives for adjudication in these writ petitions.

2. In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, these Writ Petitions are dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition are closed.
