ORDER
The relief sought for in this writ petition is for a direction to the respondent to consider the representations submitted by the writ petitioners dated 23.12.2016 and 16.09.2017 in respect of fixation of pay to the petitioners, on par with their junior one Mr.T.Vellusrose and subsequently, grant the monetary benefits.
2.The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the writ petitioners states that the pay fixation as applicable to these writ petitioners have not been fixed in accordance with the Government Orders. Further, the junior to the writ petitioners are receiving higher pay than that of the writ petitioners. In order to step up the pay of the writ petitioners on par with https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
their juniors, representations were submitted to the respondent on 23.12.2016 and on 16.09.2017. However, the said representations were kept pending for more than one year. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.
3. Thus, without going into the merits of the matter, the respondent is directed to consider the representations submitted by the writ petitioners dated 23.12.2016 and 16.09.2017 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petitioners are directed to enclose a copy of their representations and all the relevant Government Orders along with the copy of the order passed in this writ petition.
4. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
