ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed for the followed reliefs:- "Direct the 1st respondent to take on file the petitioner appeal in Application ID NMC/EMRB/A- 11011/ (000191/2026) Ethics for adjudication and further forbear the 2nd respondent from initiating any adverse proceedings against the petitioner till the appeal is taken on file."
2. The main grievance of the petitioner is that, though she had preferred an appeal on 08.01.2026 before the 1st respondent challenging the order dated 11.12.2025 passed by the 2nd respondent in and by which her name was
directed to be removed from the State Medical Register for a period of one month from the date of the order and a formal warning was issued to her, the said appeal has not been taken on file by the 1st respondent to date.
3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing on behalf of respondents 1 and 2.
4. Considering the limited relief sought by the petitioner, and taking note of the fact that it is the statutory duty of the 1st respondent to take the petitioner's appeal on file and dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law within a reasonable period of time, the Writ Petition is allowed. The 1st respondent is directed to number the appeal preferred by the petitioner on 08.01.2026 and take the same on file, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
