O R D E R
This writ petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Certiorari to call for the records pertaining to the proceedings Na.Ka.No.990/2013/a dated 10.06.2013 of the first respondent Revenue Divisional Officer, Tambaram, and quash the same insofar as it relates to the petitioner's Plot No.32 in the layout formed by the Tamil Nadu Accountant General's Office Staff Cooperative Building Society Limited, Chennai - 600 018, situate in Survey No.400 Pt, No.167, Perungalathur, Saidapet Taluk, Chingleput District and situated in the Registration District of Chinglepet and in the Sub - Registration District of Tambaram, measuring 2100 sq.ft., in Patta No.7829 dated 10.10.2012.
2. Mr.T.R.Rajagopalan, the learned Senior counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner challenged the impugned order dated 10.06.2013 passed by the first respondent thereby cancelled the sub division and restored the patta in the name of one Sowmya.
3. The petitioner is one of the member of the Tamil Nadu Accountant General's Office Staff Cooperative Building Society Limited, Chennai and purchased the subject property comprised in Survey No.400 Pt, No.167, Perungalathur, Saidapet Taluk, Chingleput District by the registered sale deed dated 25.05.1988. He also granted patta on 10.10.2012 in patta No.7829. However, without notice to the petitioner the entire sub division was cancelled and patta also cancelled and restored the land to original portion and directed to issue patta in the name of the said Sowmya.
4. While pending the writ petition, the Tamil Nadu Accountant General's Office Staff Cooperative Building Society Limited, Chennai challenged the impugned order before the District Revenue Officer and by an order dated 13.07.2017 the impugned order in this writ petition was set aside.
5. Recording the said submissions, this writ petition is closed. Consequently, the connected M.P.Nos.1, 2 of 2013 are closed.
