survey No.140/12C1, situate in Vennangupattu Village within Kottaikadu Revenue Village, Cheyyur Taluk, Kancheepuram District and to demark the boundaries of land, with adequate police protection by the 4th and 5th respondent herein in the presence of the 1st respondent-Tahsildar, Cheyyur Taluk, Kancheepuram District, pursuant to the petitioner's representation dated 28.02.2018.

O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the 4th and 5th respondents to provide police protection, while surveying the petitioner's land based on his representation dated 28.02.2018.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner; the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents and perused the materials placed on record.

3.It is the case of the petitioner that he is the owner of the property in survey No.140/12 and as per patta No.2505, survey No. 140/12C1 in Vennangupattu Village, Cheyyur Taluk, Kancheepuram District. He having purchased the same from one Paulraj vide Sale Deed document No.4285 of 2014 dated 22.12.2014 and that, when he wanted to fence the property, R6 and R7 are preventing him. Therefore, the petitioner has gave a complaint to the 5th respondent, based on which, a petition enquiry is

pending in CSR.No.49 of 2018. Under such circumstances, the petitioner is before this Court seeking police protection.

4.In the considered opinion of this Court, no blanket order of police protection can be granted in a case of this nature to this petitioner. However, when the revenue authorities come to the said land for the purpose of survey on the application of the petitioner to R1, the Police shall afford necessary police protection to the revenue authorities for survey to demark the land.
