According to the petitioner, the petitioner has presented a settlement deed on 30.12.2008 for registration before the second respondent. The second respondent assigned Doc.No.P275/2008 on the file of the second respondent and the same was kept pending for the reason best known to the second respondent. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition for the aforesaid prayer.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that it would be suffice to return the unregistered Document No.P275 of 2008 filed by the petitioner as settlement deed before the second respondent on 30.12.2008, as sought for in the amendment application filed by the petitioner.
3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent would submit that they are not opposing the prayer sought for in the amendment application to return the unregistered Document No.P275 of 2008 filed as settlement deed, before the second respondent on 30.12.2008.
4. In the light of the submission made by the parties, this Court is inclined to direct the second respondent to return the original Document No.P275 of 2008 presented by the petitioner as settlement deed, to the petitioner, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
