ORDER

Earlier, Mr.P.H.Aravind Pandian, learned Additional Advocate General, submitted that order has been obtained from

the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Tamilnadu and accordingly, the Government have decided to withdraw the land acquisition proceedings, in Survey No.144 and etc., measuring an extent of 65.34 acres in Sorancheri Village, Poonamallee Taluk, Thiruvallur District, and the learned Senior counsel further submitted that the Government have to pass necessary orders and a proper notification, for withdrawal of the land acquisition proceedings have tobe issued. Recording the same, time has been granted.

2.On this day, when the matter came up for hearing, on the basis of G.O.(Ms).No.53, Housing and Urban Development (LA1-1) Department, dated 25.03.2015, Mr.TR.Rajagopalan, learned Special Government Pleader submitted that the Government issued orders, cancelling the land acquisition proceedings, in respect of lands in Survey No.144 & etc., measuring an extent of 65.34 acres in Soranjeri Village, Poonamallee Taluk, Thiruvallur District. Copy of the Government Order dated 25.03.2015 submitted before this Court, shall form part of the record.

3.Though there is a delay in complying with the directions, having regard to the process invovled, for obtaining necessary orders from the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu and consequently, a Publication to be effect, there is no intentional disobedience. Contemnors are pursed out of the proceedings.
