This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to investigate and file final report in Crime No.897 of 2016 .

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent. 3.On the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent Police have registered a case in Crime No.897 of 2016 on 29.06.2016 under Sections 294(b), 323, 506(1) IPC r/w Section 4 of TN Prohibition of Harrassment of Women Act, 2002. While so, the de facto complainant has filed the present petition with the above prayer.

4.Learned Government Advocate submitted that investigation in Crime No.897 of 2016 was completed and Charge sheet was filed in C.C.No.3731 of 2016 before the XVII Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet on 12.09.2016.
