Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to pass orders on the representation dated 04.07.2014 which was followed by a reminder dated 19.11.2014, seeking allotment of combined Court building at Ambathur, on merits and within a time to be stipulated by this Hon'ble Court.

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. 2.The grievance expressed by the petitioner namely Ambattur Bar Association is that, it is their endeavour have independent Court building on every district and taluk, but no steps have been taken to construct combined Court building, at Ambattur. It is further stated by the petitioner that the Revenue Authorities after due inspection and verification, have also ear-marked the place as early as in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
August 2014 and thereafter nothing has been fructified so far and in this regard, a representation was also submitted on 04.07.2014 followed by a reminder dated 19.11.2014 and since it has not been favourably responded, came forward to file this writ petition. 3.Heard the submissions of Ms.N.R.Jasmine Padma, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.G.M.Muthukumar, learned Government Advocate accepting notice for the first respondent and Mr.A.Nagarajan, learned Standing Counsel, who accepts notice for the respondents 2 and 3.
4.This Court taking into consideration the limited scope of the prayer sought for in the writ petition, directs the respondents to consider and dispose of the representation dated 04.07.2014 and reminder dated 19.11.2014 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision to the petitioner association. 5.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
