The Writ Petition challenges the order dated 14.03.2012 in C.P. No. 229 of 2007 passed by the First Respondent determining that the sum of Rs. 2,00,000/- due as wages payable by the Petitioner to the Second Respondent from the period from July 2006 to February 2007 in terms of the order dated 19.09.2007 in TSE No. 13 of 2007 passed by the Special Deputy Commissioner Labour, Chennai.

Since this Court by another order dated 17.09.2020 in W.P. No. 10935 of 2019 has set aside the order dated 19.09.2007 in TSE No. 13 of 2007 passed by the Special Deputy Commissioner Labour, Chennai, the impugned order can no longer be sustained and accordingly, it is set aside and proceedings in C.P. No. 229 of 2007 before the First Respondent shall stand closed. In the result, the Writ Petition is ordered on the aforesaid terms. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed. No costs.
