ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the II Additional Family Court, Chennai, to dispose the suit in O.S.No.232 of 2011 within the time limit fixed by this Court.

2. The petitioner is the first defendant, first respondent is the plaintiff and second respondent is the second defendant in O.S.No.232 of 2011. The first respondent filed suit for declaration that the first respondent is the natural guardian and entitled to continue to keep the custody of the child as per the statute until the question of custody is decided by any competent forum. Though the petitioner filed written statement along with counter claim on 09.04.2012, the learned Judge has not framed issues till date. In the circumstance, the petitioner has come out with the present civil revision petition for early disposal of O.S.No.232 of 2011.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.

4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, considering the limited prayer sought for in the civil revision petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the matter, I direct the II Additional Family Court, Chennai, to dispose O.S.No.232 of 2011, on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, in any event, not later than four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. The Civil Revision Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
