Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to comply the direction of the first respondent in connection with petitioner's representation dated 15.11.2016 for reducing the height of the road in front of the petitioner's house.

O R D E R

Heard Mr.S.Anbalagan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.S.Diwakar, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent and Mr.T.M.Pappaiah, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the second respondent . 2.The petitioner made a representation dated 15.11.2016 to the first respondent alleging that access to his house has been blocked. On receipt of the said representation, the first respondent directed the second respondent in and by his proceedings in Na.Ka.No.14146/2016/E1 dated 16.12.2016 to take appropriate action and send a report thereafter. Seeking to expedite the said process, the present writ petition has been filed.

3.Taking into consideration of the pendency of the aforesaid proceedings, the second respondent is directed to take appropriate action and send a report to the first respondent within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of the same, the first respondent shall take consequential action within a period of four weeks thereafter.

4.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
