By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2.The petitioner claims that the second respondent has issued a separate Ration Card for his family in the year 1998-2003, and in the year 2003, he applied for a new Ration Card; but, it was not issued and he made repeated representations for getting the new Ration Card and when he went and enquired about the stage of his representations, he was badly treated and abused. According to the petitioner, he lastly submitted a representation on 9.1.2015, to the first respondent and a copy of the same was also marked to the second respondent and since he has not been favoured with any kind of response, came forward to file this writ petition. 3.Heard the submissions of the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, and Mr.V.Subbiah, learned Special Government Pleader, who accepted notice for the respondents. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.This Court, taking into consideration the limited scope of prayer sought for by the petitioner, and without entering upon the merits of the representation, directs the second respondent to consider and dispose of the representation dated 9.1.2015, submitted by the petitioner for new Ration Card, in accordance with law, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision to the petitioner.
