Respondent Prayer:- Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure to direct the respondent police herein to conduct enquiry, investigate and register an FIR for the offence committed by the erring persons based on the petitioner's complaint dated 21.04.2016, which was duly acknowledged by CSR No.255 of 2016, pending on the file of the respondent.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police herein to conduct enquiry, investigate and register an FIR for the offence committed by the erring persons based on the petitioner's complaint dated 21.04.2016, which was duly acknowledged by CSR No.255 of 2016, pending on the file of the respondent.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State. 3.

On a reading of the complaint dated 21.04.2016, it is seen that this petitioner got married to one John Fernandes Roy on 28.01.2016 and later she came to know that he is impotent. Thereafter, the petitioner has got separated from her husband and has lodged a complaint dated 21.04.2016 to the Commissioner of Police, which was referred to the Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Avadi.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the complaint given by the petitioner has been transferred to the file of the Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Perur in Coimbatore District as the offence had taken place within that said jurisdiction. The petitioner is at liberty to approach the Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Perur, and lodge a fresh complaint ..........conduct enquiry in accordance with law.
